Nail Polish Review: Rimmel Lasting Finish in 045 Misty Jade

It is spring and the weather's finally warming up so I decided to go with this fun and bright emerald colour for my nails. I've been really into greens lately so this caught my eye at the nail polish stands. I got this for around $3.00 at Priceline and it was 50% off so that's a pretty good deal.

Misty Jade is a pretty emerald green that stands out without being over the top. The colour isn't like, BOOM in your face but it still makes for statement nails. The colour doesn't really come through on camera but it is definitely a true emerald green in real life, not a Tiffany blue.

It is a cream polish and the consistency of the polish is quite smooth however it does apply a little streaky on the first coat. But this isn't noticeable because by the time you apply the second coat, it covers up the streaks and becomes a nice opaque block of colour.

I tend to wear dark and neutral colours so this adds a nice pop of colour to my outfits.

Overall, this nail polish does have a long wear time for a drugstore brand and the colour is so, sooo pretty for the spring and summer time. For the price too, I would definitely repurchase it in the future.
